Duration of study


  • The award of the master degree by courses and complementary research takes one calendar year as a lower limit and three calendar years as an upper limit.
  • The award of the master degree by research only takes two calendar years as a lower limit and three calendar years as an upper limit.
  • The maximum time period for completing the master degree is six consecutive calendar years, including withdrawal and extension.
  • In master programs by courses and complementary research, the hours for theoretical study and those for practical activity (if any) must be specified for each course in the academic curriculum.
  • The total credit hours for the courses in the master programs ranges between (24) credit hours as a lower limit and (48) credit hours as an upper limit.
